Marijuana Possession Or Use

Marijuana use — A misdemeanor crime, up to 90 days in jail, fines of up to $1,000

Marijuana use (any amount) — A misdemeanor crime, up to one year in jail, fines of up to $2,000

Marijuana use in a park — A misdemeanor or felony crime, up to two years in prison, fines of up to $2,000

Marijuana Cultivation

Cultivating less than 20 marijuana plants — A felony crime, up to four years in prison, fines of up to $20,000

Cultivating between 20 and 200 marijuana plants — A felony crime, up to seven years in prison, fines of up to $500,000

Cultivating 200 or more marijuana plants — A felony crime, up to 15 years in prison, fines of up to $10,000,000

Marijuana Sales

Distribution without remuneration — A misdemeanor crime, up to one year in jail, fines of up to $1,000

Selling less than five kilograms of marijuana — A felony crime, up to four years in prison, fines of up to $20,000

Selling between five and 45 kilograms of marijuana — A felony crime, up to seven years in prison, fines of up to $500,000

Selling 45 kilograms or more of marijuana — A felony crime, up to 15 years in prison, fines of up to $10,000,000
